Read receipts

Read receipts let other members know when you have read their messages. You can control this feature in your privacy settings:

1. Go to “Data & Settings.”

2. Select “Privacy Settings.”

3. Find the “Read Receipts” option.

4. Enable or disable this feature using the toggle switch.

When read receipts are enabled:

• Other members can see when you have read their messages.

• You will also see when they have read your messages.

If read receipts are disabled:

• Members will not know if you have read their messages

• You will also not see read receipts for messages you have sent

If you disable read receipts, you will have more privacy, but you will also not know when your messages have been read.
