Encounters with suspected fake profiles

At LemonSwan, we take the authenticity of our members very seriously. Although our platform is protected and our team does its best to verify profiles, sometimes fake profiles slip through our verification process.

We have taken several measures to ensure the authenticity of profiles:

• Manual verification: Our team personally reviews profiles.

• Identity verification: Members must confirm their identity.

• Photo verification: All photos are checked by our team.

• Behavior monitoring: We monitor activity for suspicious patterns.

If you suspect that a profile may be fake, watch out for the following warning signs:

• Extremely attractive photos that seem suspicious.

• Inconsistent or vague personal information.

• Quick requests for contact details.

• Avoiding video calls or face-to-face meetings.

• Telling dramatic stories that end with requests for money.

If you encounter a suspicious profile, please report it immediately:

1. Go to the profile in question.

2. Click on the three-dot menu in the top right corner.

3. Select “Report profile.”

4. Select the appropriate reason for the report.

Our security team investigates all reports immediately. Your report helps protect our entire community from potential scams or fake profiles.
